Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in business administration marketing sales or related major with 3 years experience in marketing or comparable area
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration marketing sales or related major with 1 year experience in marketing or comparable area
  • ability to work full time at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown location
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and project management abilities
  • proficiency with digital marketing platforms and tools
  • ability to analyze and interpret marketing data
  • leadership skills and ability to collaborate with sales and revenue management teams

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in business administration marketing sales or related field with 3 years marketing experience
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration marketing sales or related field with 1 year marketing experience
  • experience managing digital marketing and social media campaigns
  • strong analytical and communication skills
  • proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies
  • experience in hospitality or related industry preferred
  • excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • proficiency with marketing analytics and reporting tools

Job Duties

  • develops marketing strategy from plans to budgets aligning with business priorities
  • participates in sales strategy meetings to update marketing strategy
  • reconciles marketing plans with finance forecast monthly
  • leads repositioning efforts with team
  • serves as brand guardian ensuring marketing reflects brand voice
  • conceptualizes and executes property-level programming
  • leads promotional campaigns and brand promotions
  • partners with revenue management on promotional strategies
  • manages email marketing and digital strategy
  • supports group lead generation efforts
  • analyzes key marketing reports and adjusts strategies
  • manages partners to ensure deliverables
  • executes annual digital marketing plan
  • manages OTA strategy with revenue management
  • monitors SEO and recommends updates
  • identifies digital marketing opportunities
  • sets messaging strategy aligned with positioning
  • manages Marriott.com and OTA content
  • manages photography distribution and photo galleries
  • creates landing and discovery pages
  • manages guest communications
  • sets partnership strategy
  • cultivates internal and external partnerships
  • manages cluster marketing strategies
  • engages with area marketing directors
  • sets PR strategy and manages PR agencies
  • executes PR events and promotions
  • identifies outlet marketing opportunities
  • defines and manages in-house F&B marketing
  • sets social media strategy and goals
  • develops and implements social strategy
  • manages paid social media budget
  • reviews social media content calendars
  • leads asset development including collateral and photoshoots
  • measures and communicates campaign success
