- three to six months of sales and clerical experience
- prior experience with hilton operations preferred

Job Duties
- assist with administrative tasks including entering group SRPs and monitoring PMS/revenue systems reports
- coordinate daily sales office administration and maintain knowledge of sales policies and procedures
- support the Director of Sales and Catering Manager by executing daily duties and covering during absences
- meet with clients to convey sales details professionally and effectively
- compose and type routine correspondence, reports, contracts, and banquet event orders
- ensure accuracy and timeliness of all sales documents
- maintain filing systems and manage sales records
- participate in sales meetings, conferences, and committees and relay information to the sales department
- schedule appointments, travel, reservations, and vendor arrangements related to sales
- coordinate vendor relationships to maximize hotel revenue
- manage sales department communications including phone calls and mail
- assist clients with bookings for pool parties and small functions
- follow up on group room contracts and client surveys
- post deposits and payments to group accounts
- create promotional materials such as flyers and mailers
- research internet opportunities for hotel promotion
- assist in preparation of reports for revenue meetings
- contribute actively to daily sales and revenue meetings
- provide professional guest service and uphold company policies
