Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university
- minimum 1 year experience in event management
- management experience preferred
- ability to work full time

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience in event management
- experience in managing events of average complexity
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively with sales, property staff, and customers
- proficient in event logistics and operational management
- ability to lead teams and conduct meetings
- customer service excellence focus
Job Duties
- prepare all event documentation
- coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers
- manage group room blocks and meeting space
- recognize and maximize revenue opportunities through up-selling
- act as liaison between sales team and customers
- conduct formal pre- and post-event meetings
- ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews
- deliver exceptional customer service
- handle guest problems and complaints
- follow up with customers post-event
- lead event management teams
- support sales process and revenue forecasting
- review guest satisfaction feedback with employees
- assist in corrective action plans
