Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in sales or hospitality industry
  • proficiency with technology and sales software
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • capacity to sit for extended periods and stand or walk as needed
  • adherence to grooming and attendance standards
  • ability to work varied schedules

  • valid work authorization

Job Duties

  • Work with Area Director of Sales to identify top accounts and key buyers for stakeholder hotels
  • identify share shift targets within the business transient segment and create sales actions
  • negotiate yearly special corporate negotiated rates to drive revenue growth
  • solicit new accounts leveraging competitor intelligence and internal referrals
  • maintain lead generation programs through operations teams
  • build rapport with repeat travelers and host hotel appreciation events
  • conduct customer-facing sales activities and site inspections
  • maintain up-to-date lead and account information using company software
  • qualify and maintain customer long-term business potential
  • present stakeholder hotel benefits based on customer needs
  • utilize sales negotiation skills and market intelligence
  • communicate market trends and competitor analysis
  • track sales activities and relate to revenue production
  • participate in sales strategy meetings and adjust priorities
  • activate local tactics to meet buyer needs
  • perform other duties as assigned
