Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience as a general manager or in a similar leadership role
- Strong financial management skills including P&L analysis and budget development
- Proven ability to lead and build effective teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations such as OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, NFPA
- Ability to manage labor productivity effectively
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to implement strategic initiatives
- Experience with branded or upscale hotel management is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Proven track record in delivering financial results with strong financial management skills such as P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure planning
- Demonstrated ability to build, influence, and grow cohesive teams
- Proven record of achieving positive associate engagement and guest satisfaction scores
- Solid understanding of revenue management, sales, marketing, and food and beverage strategies
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards including OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, and NFPA
- Strong labor productivity management skills
- Creative problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills to develop unique guest experiences and maximize revenue
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a general manager or similar leadership role
- Experience managing branded hotel or upscale property is preferred
Job Duties
- Lead, develop, and influence teams to deliver financial, cultural, and experiential results for hotel and food and beverage operations
- Serve as strategic business leader responsible for overall hotel performance, P&L, guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor management
- Direct leadership teams and oversee performance across departments including food and beverage, sales, marketing, and human resources
- Maintain day-to-day culture with high ethical standards to drive associate engagement and guest satisfaction
- Build and maintain owner confidence through proactive communication and delivering business results
- Perform additional duties as assigned by regional vice presidents and corporate leadership
- Implement strategies to maximize guest experience and revenue
