Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
  • Must demonstrate leadership ability and supervisory experience
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have legal authorization to serve alcoholic beverages where applicable
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Must be proficient with relevant technology and software
  • Must be willing to travel if required
  • Must be able to read and interpret safety and operational documents
  • Must be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service
  • Must adhere to company uniform and grooming standards
  • Must comply with all safety and preventative maintenance protocols

  • Demonstrated leadership in hospitality and guest service with a commitment to friendliness
  • Meeting legal age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Basic knowledge of the market served
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industries including Rooms and Food & Beverage departments preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
  • Understand and utilize relevant technology for the role
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Maintain hospitality standards while cleaning by greeting guests happily
  • Complete all operational checklists with 100% accuracy every shift
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform with proper grooming and a nametag at all times
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a willingness to go beyond traditional roles to meet business needs
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and positive working relationships
  • Conduct daily supervision including walks through guest rooms and public spaces
  • Manage onboarding of new team members ensuring adherence to onboarding processes
  • Ensure all daily summary and night audit procedures are completed per policy
  • Oversee quality assurance by adhering to brand standards and conducting audits
  • Enforce uniform policies and encourage friendly guest interactions
  • Monitor and certify fire and life safety inspections and correct deficiencies
  • Confirm completion and quality of preventative maintenance tasks
  • Manage and enforce adherence to team members’ work schedules
  • Build a culture of learning and safety that encourages staff to learn from mistakes
  • Provide staff training and ensure functional expertise in roles
  • Communicate growth opportunities and career paths to staff
  • Deliver daily coaching with positive, candid feedback
  • Review team member time clock punches daily as per policy
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure invoices are processed correctly
  • Maintain clean and organized storage and inventory management
  • Maintain effective financial management and reporting in accordance with company policy
