Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a general manager
- Proven financial management skills including ability to analyze profit and loss statements and develop budgets
- Strong leadership and team-building experience
- Knowledge of safety and governmental regulations
- Effective labor productivity management skills
- Ability to problem-solve and implement strategic initiatives
- Experience in upscale or branded hotel environments preferred
Job Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering financial results and effective financial management skills such as analyzing profit and loss statements, developing operating budgets, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning
- Demonstrated ability to build, influence, and grow cohesive teams
- Proven track record of positive associate engagement and high guest satisfaction scores
- Solid knowledge of cross-discipline strategies including revenue management, sales, marketing, and food and beverage to impact overall business objectives
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards such as OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, and NFPA
- Ability to manage labor productivity effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to execute strategies and deliver results creatively
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a general manager
- Experience with branded hotels or upscale properties is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead, develop, and influence teams to deliver overall financial, cultural, and experiential results for hotel and food and beverage
- Achieve business goals related to profit and loss, guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor
- Direct leadership teams and develop the performance of all operating departments including food and beverage, sales, marketing, and human resources
- Lead day-to-day culture and maintain the highest level of ethical leadership to achieve associate engagement and guest satisfaction
- Build owner confidence through proactive communication, managing expectations, and delivering solid business results
- Perform other duties as assigned by regional vice presidents and corporate leadership team
