Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years experience in culinary or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 4 years experience in culinary or related area
- strong leadership skills
- knowledge of food handling and sanitation certifications
- ability to manage budgets and control expenses
- excellent communication skills
- ability to manage and resolve employee issues
Job Qualifications

- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years experience

Job Duties
- Leads kitchen management team
- provides direction for all day-to-day operations
- supervises and coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation
- develops and implements guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving areas
- monitors the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met
- ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- manages employee progressive discipline procedures for areas of responsibility
