Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • or 2-year degree in relevant field
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work full time
  • experience with event logistics
  • leadership capabilities
  • customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of event management experience
  • or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 1 year event management experience
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple events concurrently
  • knowledge of event planning trends
  • leadership and team management skills
  • customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • prepare all event documentation
  • coordinate with sales, property departments and customers
  • manage group room blocks and meeting space
  • act as liaison between sales and customers
  • conduct pre- and post-event meetings
  • assist in sales process and revenue forecasting
  • review guest feedback and implement service improvements
