Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Basic knowledge of event management
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if required
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, banquets and event service operations
- Customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to work reliably and consistently
- Experience in sales, catering or banquets preferred but not required
- Attention to detail with a 'make it right' mindset
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Job Duties
- Act as a liaison between sales person and customer throughout the event process to ensure success of meetings and events
- Maximize revenue opportunities with upsell enhancements
- Ensure events run smoothly by communicating and coordinating with sales and various operations departments for execution of details
- Conduct monthly forecasting of estimated food and beverage revenue
- Ensure billing accuracy
- Coordinate with multiple departments to manage event logistics
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to event execution
