Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Experience in revenue management, sales, and marketing or related area
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency with data analysis and revenue management technology
  • Ability to lead and manage teams
  • Understanding of hospitality industry standards and brand philosophies

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • OR 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with no work experience required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with revenue management systems and analytical tools
  • Ability to develop and execute sales and pricing strategies
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis

Job Duties

  • Oversees revenue management activities and managers within area of purview
  • Responsible for balancing financial objectives of lodging products to maximize total revenues and profit
  • Manages pricing, positioning and inventory of all hotels within area
  • Analyzes demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting and opportunity analysis
  • Develops and recommends sales strategy for transient customer, wholesale, and group segments
  • Acts as primary contact and maintains relationships with General Managers, sales leaders, franchisees and owners
  • Communicates sales strategy and pricing to key stakeholders
  • Generates accurate and timely revenue reports and forecasts
  • Initiates, implements and evaluates revenue tests
  • Ensures sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate
  • Provides recommendations to improve revenue management processes
  • Ensures hotel strategies conform to brand philosophies and property objectives
