Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • one year of relevant experience in admissions or student recruitment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • ability to travel extensively during recruitment seasons
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • knowledge of FERPA and university policy compliance
  • capacity to handle physical effort related to travel and campus tours

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • one year of experience related to admissions advising or student recruitment
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
  • bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred
  • knowledge of admissions policies and procedures
  • experience with student information and customer relationship management systems

Job Duties

  • Serve as an ambassador and representative of the university in recruitment activities
  • manage a designated recruitment territory and conduct extensive fall travel
  • guide prospective students and families through the admission application process
  • develop and implement recruitment marketing and communications strategies
  • conduct campus tours and presentations, tele-recruiting, and e-recruiting
  • collaborate with university departments, faculty, and staff for outreach efforts
  • participate in orientation programming and family engagement activities
