Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior convention, event, or catering sales experience preferred
  • Creative thinker with food, beverage, and event knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and sales
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and present professionally

Job Duties

  • Manage food and beverage sales goals and achieve sales targets
  • Maintain and develop client relationships through proactive communication and personalized tours
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute catering and convention events with attention to detail
  • Monitor industry trends to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales or Director of Catering/Convention Services to meet hotel revenue and satisfaction goals
  • Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure smooth event operations and client satisfaction
  • Represent the hotel at local community events and promotional activities
