Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Coordinate daily restaurant operations to exceed owner and guest expectations
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Monitor productivity and quality of service from servers, hosts, cooks, and chefs
  • Assign work, cleaning projects, and priorities to meet quality standards
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline restaurant staff
  • Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
  • Schedule and direct staff work assignments
  • Interact positively with customers promoting hotel facilities and services
  • Resolve customer problems satisfactorily
  • Answer telephones and coordinate reservations
  • Organize special events such as receptions
  • Maintain communication with all departments to meet customer service needs
  • Monitor food quality and service standards throughout the facility
  • Verify product temperatures, appearance, taste, and preparation methods
  • Provide guidance for improvement and ensure consistency
  • Maintain outlet profitability to support hotel operations
  • Control payroll and equipment costs
  • Maintain par stock levels through inventory management
  • Evaluate cost effectiveness and implement cost-saving measures
  • Utilize cash handling procedures and prepare financial reports
