Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience or 1 year of experience with Baggage Handling Systems or Passenger Boarding Bridges or passing a mechanical aptitude test
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badge
- Valid driver’s license and insurable
- Compliance with drug and alcohol policy
- Commitment to safety
- Ability to work in tight spaces and heights using PPE and fall protection
- Basic computer skills for emails and training
- Ability to follow company and federal policies
- Ability to complete assigned training
- Ability to work under physical demands including standing, walking, lifting and climbing in an airport terminal environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to accept direction and mentoring
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience or 1 year of BHS or PBB experience or ability to pass mechanical aptitude test
- Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in an airport environment preferred
- Experience working on conveyors or passenger boarding bridges preferred

Job Duties
- Assist with basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine and emergency maintenance
- Clear system jams
- Conduct shift inspections
- Perform cleaning and electrical and mechanical adjustments
- Diagnose equipment failures under guidance
- Follow company and federal safety policies
- Complete training courses assigned by company
- Complete forms related to work assignments
- Assist technicians with sweeping, cleaning and greasing
- Comply with safety programs, policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as required by management
