Job Requirements
- Must be at least 22 years or older
- Must have no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- Must have no more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
- Must have at least 9 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before being hired
- Must comply with all Department of Transportation regulations
- Additional qualifications may apply
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
- Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
- Ability to comply with Department of Transportation regulations including Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
- Strong communication and time management skills
Job Duties
- Haul freight safely and efficiently for Target and other company operations
- Operate late-model Day Cabs and Sleeper Cabs as required
- Adhere to scheduled shifts with varied days and start times
- Travel extensively, including multi-week assignments
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations
- Maintain communication with dispatch and operations teams
- Manage per diem receipts and accommodations during travel
