Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a service-oriented role or related experience
  • Lives within 25 miles or reasonable distance of the designated airport location
  • Flexible availability including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays and potential overnight stays
  • Demonstrated ability to deescalate tense situations
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to multitask and work independently
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential data
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Energetic and efficient attitude with problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to handle objects up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform extensive physical movement including walking long distances and standing for long periods
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Administers drug test and alcohol collections in accordance with federal regulations, state laws and company policy
  • Follows established procedures to enforce direct-observation specimen collections and make determinations on refusals to test
  • Schedules tests for various workgroups with complex and varied employee work hours
  • Documents and processes expenses accurately
  • Guides frontline leaders in drug and alcohol testing scenarios and interpretation of federal regulations
  • Secures and maintains testing supplies and orders them as necessary
  • Provides expert testimony for FAA, NTSB, state investigations and labor hearings as required
  • Travels for business including day, nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overnight stays
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or situation dictates
