Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License and/or Oklahoma Horse Racing License
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a casino environment, including exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of experience in a cash-handling role, preferably in a casino environment
  • Ability to handle large amounts of money accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment

Job Duties

  • Collect full money boxes from gaming machines
  • Replace full boxes with empty boxes on gaming machines
  • Transport full boxes to a secure location
  • Ensure all machine doors and cart doors are properly secured
  • Accurately sort, count, and verify cash, coins, and other gaming assets
  • Prepare funds for transfer
  • Balance bank accounts and reconcile counts with Cage operations
  • Input data into the computer system
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Protect casino assets by adhering to strict security protocols
  • Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or security personnel
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
