Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 6 months of experience in a cash-handling role
  • ability to handle large amounts of money accurately and efficiently
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • basic computer skills
  • strong organizational and time-management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License and/or Oklahoma Horse Racing License
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • ability to work in a casino environment with exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise

Job Duties

  • Collect full money boxes from gaming machines
  • replace full boxes with empty boxes on gaming machines
  • transport full boxes to a secure location
  • ensure all machine doors and cart doors are properly secured
  • accurately sort, count, and verify cash, coins, and other gaming assets
  • prepare funds for transfer
  • balance bank accounts and reconcile counts with Cage operations
  • input data into the computer system
  • maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • perform basic equipment maintenance as needed
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • protect casino assets by adhering to strict security protocols
  • report any suspicious activity to supervisors or security personnel
  • adhere to all company policies and procedures
