Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Two or more years of relevant industry experience required
  • Licensed FAA part 107 pilot certification required
  • Experience in drone operations management
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Ability to implement safety and risk management protocols
  • Skills in data acquisition and analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to conduct remote flights in refinery environments
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local drone operation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two or more years of relevant industry experience
  • Licensed FAA part 107 pilot
  • Proven experience in managing drone operations, preferably in the oil and gas sector
  • Knowledge in refineries
  • Strong knowledge of drone technology, regulations, and safety standards
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools

Job Duties

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the drone fleet, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of drone data into company workflows
  • Support mission planning, develop use cases & mission plans, perform data collection and assist in the processing of collected data
  • Identify opportunities to leverage drone technology to improve safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
  • Conduct remote flights in refineries
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations related to drone operations in the oil and gas industry
  • Implement safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies to ensure safe drone operations
