Job Requirements
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- proven experience flying drones in professional or commercial settings
- familiarity with multiple flight control systems such as DJI Pilot apps and QGroundControl
- valid driver's license
- ability to work outdoors in varied conditions and travel to project sites
- ability to lift and carry 55+ pounds over short distances
Job Qualifications

- familiarity with multiple flight control systems such as DJI Pilot apps and QGroundControl
- valid driver's license
- ability to work outdoors in varied conditions and travel to project sites
- experience operating drones equipped with LiDAR or photogrammetry payloads
- familiarity with GPS equipment for ground control and checkpoint collection
- surveying or mapping experience preferred
- strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to field conditions
Job Duties
- Operate and manage flight missions using multiple drone platforms
- conduct pre-flight inspections, mission planning, and post-flight checks to ensure safety and compliance
- deploy and monitor LiDAR and photogrammetry payloads for aerial mapping projects
- upload, transfer, and organize flight data for processing by the data team
- assist survey and engineering teams with aerial data acquisition
- provide support in integrating aerial data with ground survey results
- maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot UAS hardware, batteries, and related field equipment
- ensure compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations, airspace restrictions, and EHRA safety protocols
- track flight hours, maintenance logs, and regulatory requirements
