Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid class B commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement
  • Clean driving record with no violations
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations
  • Physical ability to perform light work including walking, standing, and sitting
  • Ability to handle varied tasks efficiently
  • Must be able to complete necessary records and reports
  • Mechanical aptitude with automobiles
  • Strong interpersonal skills with residents and team members

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid class B commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement
  • One year experience driving for seniors is preferred
  • Clean driving record with no violations
  • Ability to read, write and speak English to perform job duties and communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to operate a bus and vehicles safely and economically
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude with automobiles
  • Excellent hospitality skills in working with customers

Job Duties

  • Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations
  • Track assigned pick-ups and drop offs to ensure timely service
  • Provide for high level of resident engagement
  • Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles
  • Report needs for vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid levels, belts, batteries, etc
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
