Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid class B commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement
  • Clean driving record with no violations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely
  • Physical ability to perform job functions including sitting, walking, and standing
  • Ability to work weekends only on a part-time schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid class B commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement
  • One year experience driving for seniors is preferred
  • Must have a clean driving record and safe, courteous driving habits
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently
  • Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to operate a bus and vehicles safely and economically
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions
  • Ability to complete various forms and records including route sheets and incident reports
  • Must have mechanical aptitude with automobiles
  • Must have excellent hospitality skills

Job Duties

  • Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations
  • Track assigned pick-ups and drop offs to ensure timely service
  • Provide for high level of resident engagement
  • Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles
  • Report needs for vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid levels, belts, batteries
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
