Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Front office/receptionist experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- Ability to assist disabled or elderly residents
- Understanding of HIPAA guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including for special occasions and schedules
Job Qualifications
- Front office/receptionist experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Driver license with clean driving record
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
Job Duties
- Professionally answer all incoming calls to the facility
- Greet and assist all guests of the facility
- Give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, etc
- Issue and collect identification badges as representatives sign in/out
- Assist with administrative duties as directed (includes typing, filing, posting accounts, etc)
- Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip
- Assist disabled and/or elderly residents in and out of vehicle and in and out of buildings and doctor's offices when appropriate
- Assist all departments in the delivery and pick-up of other related work items, i.e., x-rays, pharmaceuticals, medical records, mail drop off, etc., while adhering to HIPPA guidelines
- Clean and service vehicle
- Report all vehicle repairs, and/or any unsafe or hazardous situations immediately to supervisor
- Remain flexible and available for special occasions and special schedules
- Use tact and understanding with facility personnel, residents, family members, and outside community contacts
