Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar position is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including assisting residents in and out of vehicles
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexible schedule including availability for special occasions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred
- Experience assisting elderly or disabled individuals is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to use office equipment and basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and reliably
Job Duties
- Professionally answer all incoming calls to the facility
- Greet and assist all guests of the facility
- Give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, etc.
- Issue and collect identification badges as representatives sign in/out
- Assist with administrative duties as directed (includes typing, filing, posting accounts, etc.)
- Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip
- Assist disabled and/or elderly residents in and out of vehicle and in and out of buildings and doctor’s offices when appropriate
- Assist all departments in the delivery and pick-up of work items including x-rays, pharmaceuticals, medical records, mail, etc., while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Clean and service vehicle
- Report all vehicle repairs and/or unsafe or hazardous situations immediately to supervisor
- Remain flexible and available for special occasions and special schedules
- Use tact and understanding with facility personnel, residents, family members, and outside community contacts
