Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience
  • Must possess a valid and clean driver’s license
  • Class B license is a plus
  • Must maintain alcohol-free and drug-free status
  • Must be certified in forklift and pallet jack operation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer use
  • Knowledge of city and state highways preferred
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in driving or delivery
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Certification in operating forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions
  • Knowledge of city or state highways preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Drive delivery trucks safely and efficiently along established routes or within a set territory
  • Load and unload merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds at customer locations
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships between the company and customers
  • Operate company vehicles safely in difficult conditions including heavy traffic and inclement weather
  • Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects
  • Keep truck interiors clean and orderly
  • Promptly report any accidents, delays, or irregularities related to deliveries
  • Obtain customer signatures for deliveries and handle cash-on-delivery payments
  • Submit receipts, payment records, delivery logs, and vehicle maintenance reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned
