Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of relevant driving experience
- Valid Class D driver’s license or higher
- Excellent driving record
- Ability to comply with local, state, and federal driving laws
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving loading and unloading
- Ability to use handheld devices for service management
- Willingness to obtain mandatory immunizations and credentials if required by customers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three or more years of experience preferably in driving shred or box trucks and route management
- Valid driver’s license Class D or above with excellent driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for highway traffic signs and safety regulations
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with DOT logs and compliance requirements
Job Duties
- Perform onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks and driver check-in on the assigned truck
- Report maintenance issues to Transportation or Dispatcher for follow-up
- Operate company equipment safely and efficiently
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
- Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable
- Maintain high security when emptying consoles and collection totes
- Service accounts using a hand-held device ensuring accurate records
- Manage assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate collection of confidential materials
- Handle and respond to customer problems and inquiries expediently
- Perform other duties as assigned
