Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience preferably in related fields
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license Class D or above
- Ability to obtain and maintain Medical Examiner Certification
- Proficient English communication skills including reading, speaking, and writing
- Ability to operate vehicles equipped with ELD and GPS
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading, unloading, and securing materials
- Reliable and punctual with strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6+ months of experience preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid standard driver’s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record
- Ability to obtain and retain a valid Medical Examiner Card
- Adequate English language skills to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports
Job Duties
- Manages assigned routes ensuring customers' waste is picked up in a safe, timely, and accurate manner
- Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations
- Plans daily schedule based on customers' needs by reviewing daily paperwork
- Follows routing software route schedule
- Prepares and loads trucks to service select accounts ensuring supplies are added
- Unloads trucks at various Stericycle and customer sites securing waste
- Ensures that customers have packaged and prepared the waste according to all applicable rules and regulations
- Provides the highest level of customer service and communicates issues to supervisors
- Completes all required paperwork legibly, accurately, and returns it for processing
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip maintenance inspections on assigned trucks
