Job Requirements
- Valid class B driver’s license and current medical
- Tanker endorsement
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience
- Clean driving record without reckless driving offenses, DUIs, or leaving the scene of an accident
- No more than 1.5 active points in the last 36 months
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Willingness to work under supervision, coaching, and discipline
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical ability to kneel, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders
Job Qualifications
- Valid class B driver’s license
- Tanker endorsement
- 6+ months of driving experience
- Basic knowledge of concrete products and ready-mix truck operation
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Job Duties
- Operate and drive a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT and company safety regulations
- Perform proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely manner
- Visually inspect the consistency of concrete and ensure loads meet slump specifications
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance
- Complete and maintain DOT daily logbooks when required
- Communicate job hazards to supervisors and the safety department
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor around coworkers and customers
- Work up to 16 hours with a maximum of 11 hours driving according to hours-of-service regulations
- Wear proper PPE at all times
