Job Requirements
- Must have valid class B driver's license and current medical
- tanker endorsement
- reliable transportation
- clean driving record with no reckless driving, DUIs, or leaving accident scenes
- no more than 1.5 active points on driver record in last 36 months
- ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on schedule
- ability to work with supervision and receive feedback
Job Qualifications
- Valid class B driver's license with tanker endorsement
- current medical certification
- reliable transportation
- ability to follow written and verbal directions
- effective verbal communication skills
- basic knowledge of concrete products and ready-mix truck operation
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- willingness to accept supervision and coaching
Job Duties
- Operates and drives ready-mix truck safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT and company rules and regulations
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- visually inspect concrete consistency and haul loads at correct slump
- maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance
- complete and maintain DOT daily logbook when required
- communicate job hazards to supervisors and safety department
- maintain a positive attitude and act professionally around coworkers and customers
- work up to 16 hours with maximum of 11 hours driving, complying with Hours-of-Service regulations
- wear proper PPE at all times
