Job Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Qualification as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • Proficiency in English
  • Acceptable CSA and MVR record
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Acceptable CSA and MVR record

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors
  • Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable)

Job Duties

  • Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites
  • Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions
  • Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise concrete pouring
  • Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck
  • Provide outstanding service, maintaining a professional image for the company
  • Work closely with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations
