Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid class specific driver’s license
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Good driving record from Department of Public Safety
  • Ability to complete seclusion and restraint training within 90 days
  • Capacity to work occasional overtime and flexible hours
  • Physical ability to lift, hold, and assist patients
  • Ability to work under varying weather conditions
  • Visual and auditory acuity for safe driving
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Maintains a valid, class specific driver’s license applicable to patient transportation
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Good driving record as verified by the Department of Public Safety
  • Ability to lift, pull, twist, and stoop when assisting patients
  • Ability to move and work under various weather conditions
  • Completion of training in seclusion and restraint procedures within 90 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Transport patients to and from the facility
  • Provide continuous observation of patients during transport
  • Interact and role model proper behavior to patients
  • Maintain patient safety at all times
  • Adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Handle physical assistance of patients when necessary
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth patient transfers
