Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- basic life support certification by american heart association required within six months of hire
- valid driver’s license
- dot-equivalent medical examiner’s certificate
- pass periodic drug screenings as required by federal, state, and valley health policies

- professional appearance and courteous customer service skills
Job Duties
- transport residents to and from medical appointments safely and timely
- map daily routes according to scheduled medical appointments
- communicate with director of nursing or designee regarding appointment changes or transportation delays
- problem-solve transportation issues as they arise
- ensure the transport van is cleaned and maintained after each use
- coordinate regular scheduled maintenance for the transport van
- support patient needs and escort patients who are fall risks
