Job Requirements

  • Valid TX Class A commercial driver’s license with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements
  • valid medical examiner’s card
  • one year of Class A professional driving experience in last five years with clean record
  • diploma from accredited driving school plus one year prior driving experience may be considered
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • ability to lift regularly up to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 800 pounds with equipment
  • ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
  • willingness to work overtime and in various weather conditions
  • adherence to drug-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

  • minimum one year of Class A professional driving experience within the last five years with a clean driving record
  • diploma from accredited driving school considered in lieu of experience
  • ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive a truck with capacity exceeding 3 tons to transport materials between branches
  • maintain accurate records including DOT driver logs and vehicle documents
  • pick up empty cylinders and return them to plant for refilling
  • safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and document any deficiencies
  • communicate effectively with internal customers about orders and deliveries
  • comply with all company and DOT safety policies
