Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum 6 months verifiable CDL Class A or B driving experience in industry and vehicle type
- minimum 5 years of industry driving experience may substitute for high school diploma or GED
- experience with fuel transport and railroad preferred for some positions
- ability to read, speak, and understand English
- valid state issued Class A and B driver's license
- hazardous materials endorsement required for some positions
- acceptable driving record as defined by DOT regulations, TSA regulations and company policy
- must meet DOT physical requirements and possess or be able to provide current valid medical card
- ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Card as needed
- forklift driver certification
- DOT dangerous goods and hazardous materials certification
- must be bondable
Job Qualifications

- minimum 6 months verifiable CDL Class A or B driving experience in industry and with vehicle type

- valid state issued Class A or B driver's license

- railroad industry experience and fuel transport experience preferred for some positions
Job Duties
- act as a messenger for the company and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- operate vehicle to transport materials to and from specified destinations safely and efficiently in compliance with state and federal DOT regulations and TSA requirements
- protect company equipment and freight from damage, theft, or tampering
- oversee the safety of cargo and units to ensure proper securing and condition, and verify delivery documentation for accuracy
- load freight onto the truck using forklift and pallet jack and secure freight with load locks, straps, covers, etc.
- unload freight from truck using proper equipment
- report any irregularities related to cargo pick-up or delivery such as damage, shortage, complaints, or requests
- maintain communication with dispatch and promptly report delays due to weather, breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies
