Job Requirements

  • CDL Class A license
  • Willingness to work local routes using tractor trailer
  • Experience 0+ including CDL students
  • Ability to follow all state, local laws and DOT regulations
  • Detail oriented and able to work in fast paced, high volume environment
  • Maintain current medical card
  • Have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No more than three moving violations in past 36 months or two in past 12 months
  • No preventable accidents involving fatality, bodily injury or disabling damage in last three years
  • No convictions for driving under the influence in past five years
  • No positive drug or alcohol tests in last five years reported to Clearinghouse

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Reading and writing English proficiency
  • Knowledge of airport codes, destinations, and basic geography
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Current medical card
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No more than three moving violations in past 36 months or two in past 12 months
  • No convictions for driving while intoxicated or under the influence within past five years
  • No positive drug or alcohol results in last five years reported to Clearinghouse

Job Duties

  • Drive truck to and from specified destinations safely and follow all state, local laws, and DOT regulations
  • Maintain driver hours of service using electronic logs and ensure rest periods according to state and federal regulations
  • Perform general fleet maintenance including fueling, cleaning, and inspections before and after trips
  • Prepare receipts for loads picked up and maintain accurate freight documentation
  • Secure cargo with proper equipment such as load bars, e-track, and straps during transit
  • Provide timely communication with supervisor regarding status of daily route including stops and breaks
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and assist with loading and unloading as needed
