Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • ability to work onsite at specified Cox location
  • availability to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm up to 20 hours per week
  • able to pass pre-employment drug test
  • physical capability to perform tasks including sitting, walking, standing, lifting up to 15 pounds, bending, crouching, and climbing
  • adherence to company safety policies
  • no current or future visa sponsorship available
  • compliance with drug-free workplace standards

Job Qualifications

  • Safe driving skills
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently
  • ability to sit for prolonged periods
  • physical ability to walk long distances
  • ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly
  • capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently
  • ability to lift 1-15 pounds
  • vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission preferred
  • previous auction experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner
  • Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses while observing auction driving rules and rules of the road
  • Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader
  • Move vehicles as necessary and locate lost vehicles
  • Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed including inflating tires and jump starting vehicles
  • Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative and notify service or gas truck driver when vehicle is out of gas
  • Assist customers and coworkers as needed
  • Visibly demonstrate commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures
  • Actively participate in all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
