Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in outdoor heat and/or cold environment
- Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for the entire work shift
- Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- Must be able to apply safety standards
- Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends, and holidays which is subject to change due to shift bidding
Job Qualifications
- Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes
- Must be able to pass a 10-year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must possess interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess basic math skills
- Ability to interpret and comprehend menu and flight galley specifications
Job Duties
- Load equipment onto the truck
- Drive the truck to the plane
- Load galleys according to customer guidelines
- Offload dirty equipment
- Place dirty equipment and trash in designated areas
- Follow all ramp, AOA, safety, and security rules and regulations
- Use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
