Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work in outdoor heat and/or cold environment
  • Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for the entire work shift
  • Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
  • Must be able to apply safety standards
  • Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends, and holidays which is subject to change due to shift bidding

Job Qualifications

  • Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Must possess interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend menu and flight galley specifications

Job Duties

  • Load equipment onto the truck
  • Drive the truck to the plane
  • Load galleys according to customer guidelines
  • Offload dirty equipment
  • Place dirty equipment and trash in designated areas
  • Follow all ramp, AOA, safety, and security rules and regulations
  • Use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
