Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Class B CDL license
- Must have Hazmat endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 60 days of being hired
- Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check
- DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required
- Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs, and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Touch freight delivery experience
Job Duties
- Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- Collects empty cylinders from customers
- Records transactions and obtains signatures
- Addresses customer inquiries ensuring satisfaction
- Handles loading and unloading
- Conducts pre and post-trip vehicle checks noting issues and ensuring safety compliance
- Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle's condition
