Job Requirements
- Must have valid CDL driver’s license and clean driving record
- valid CDL permit with clean driving record and interest in company sponsored training
- career goals of becoming a CDL driver
- valid driver’s license
- ability to complete company sponsored training program while working as a material handler
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record
- ability to operate yard equipment including forklifts safely
- experience in delivering building materials or similar products
- ability to perform heavy lifting
- excellent time management and customer service skills
- strong commitment to safety practices
- good physical condition to manage loading and unloading tasks
Job Duties
- Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of inter-company orders
- loading of trucks
- receiving of materials
- operates yard equipment including forklifts safely and efficiently
- expedites the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles
- receives and carries out customer order instructions including maps and materials according to the delivery sequence
- ensures timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites
- completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites
- delivers material to jobsites and customers in a safe and efficient manner according to safety guidelines established
