Job Requirements
- Two years of commercial driving experience with relevant cargo preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver's License per assigned vehicle type required
- Successful completion of a road test required
- Ability to meet company insurability standards required
- Ability to meet FMCSA drug and alcohol clearinghouse requirements required
- Ability to meet all driver qualification requirements per Federal regulations required
- Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Record quality criteria required
- No drug violations during the previous five years required
- Proof of completion of certified SAP program for violations over five years old required
- Basic knowledge of laws and government regulations related to commercial vehicle operations required
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions required
- Basic measurement and arithmetic skills required
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships required
- Ability to make sound decisions required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating over 26,001 lbs to deliver or pick up merchandise
- Drive and perform safety-affecting activities on motor vehicles weighing 10,000 pounds or less
- Follow safety procedures including securement of cargo using tarps
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Load and unload vehicles as required
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Record inspection information on the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report
- Use electronic logging devices to log daily activities
- Report traffic incidents and vehicle damage to supervisors
- Read bills of lading and manifests to determine assignment details
- Check load-related documentation for accuracy and obtain receipts or signatures
- Adhere to all safety processes and protocols
