Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience as a bus or van driver
- Valid and current driver’s license for vehicle class driven
- Willingness and ability to obtain commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to become certified
- Clean DMV driving record
- Knowledge of surrounding neighborhood area
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and ability to deal with stress and needs of older adults
- Ability to use client and customer-focused approach to problem solving
- Sensitivity to needs of older adults
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Transport residents to and from appointments and outings using community vehicles
- Provide appropriate assistance to residents during outings
- Operate various types of community vehicles including bus, van, limousine, sedan, and trams
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents while driving
- Perform all operational tasks related to driving
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Maintain knowledge of neighborhood routes and conditions
