Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • must be 25 years of age for valet
  • must have excellent driving record
  • must possess LIC-Chauffeur License - State MI State of Michigan
  • must have CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC within 90 days if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • must be 25 years of age for valet
  • must have excellent driving record
  • LIC-Chauffeur License - State MI State of Michigan
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association not required for Spectrum Health Lakeland
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross not required for Spectrum Health Lakeland
  • 6 months of relevant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provides transportation for employees, guests and community groups to and from various locations
  • performs limited maintenance and care of department vehicles and equipment
  • notifies supervisor of anticipated repair needs as appropriate
  • uses the radio to appropriately communicate with dispatch and other shuttle drivers while in route
  • monitors parking area and grounds for suspicious activity or hazards and reports them to the appropriate department
  • ensures appropriate documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with regulations and department policy
