Job Requirements
- Valid Oregon driver’s license
- Safe driving record
- Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects
- Ability to maintain food safety standards
- Possession or ability to obtain Food Handler’s Card
- Alcohol and drug free
- Responsible and self-managed
- Satisfactory background check
- Use of smart phone
- Availability Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends
- Willingness to supervise volunteers
Job Qualifications
- Must have a safe driving record
- Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license
- Ability to operate vehicles, forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to perform strenuous and repetitive physical labor
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to safely push and pull pallets up to 2,000 pounds using a pallet jack
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and creatively problem solve
- Ability to prepare written reports and maintain inventory records
- Must possess or obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card
- Must be alcohol and drug free
- Must be responsible and self-managed

Job Duties
- Pick up food donations in a timely, courteous and efficient manner
- Deliver orders to partner agencies
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with donors and agency representatives
- Ensure proper storage, stacking and temperature control for food products
- Track food donations and distribution using established record and inventory system
- Ensure food safety during transport and resolve food handling problems with donors
- Maintain food donation records and daily receiving records
- Unload and organize product in warehouse
- Return dunnage such as bread racks and milk crates to donors
- Supervise driver-assistant volunteers
- Fill in for other drivers when necessary
- Maintain vehicle and food handling equipment in a food safe and sanitary condition
- Maintain vehicle according to best practices and manufacturer’s specifications
- Maintain clean vehicle exterior and interior
- Provide excellent customer service, being professional in demeanor, appearance, and actions
- Function as part of a team while demonstrating strong communication skills
- Assist in daily preparation of orders
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles and inventory control
- Sort donated food products
