Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
- Must maintain a valid Driver License
- Must possess or obtain CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsement
- Must be able to assist passengers with mobility devices
- Ability to safely manage conflict situations
- Must accurately record passenger fares
Job Qualifications
- Valid CA Driver License
- Ability and willingness to obtain CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsement
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Experience with large passenger buses preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to handle emergency situations
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Safely operate transit buses on scheduled routes
- Provide reliable and efficient public transportation services
- Assist passengers with securing mobility devices
- Ensure passenger safety and comfort during transit
- Handle emergency situations professionally
- Accurately collect passenger fares including cash, tickets, and passes
- Manage conflicts and difficult situations with passengers calmly and effectively
