Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum class B commercial driver’s license required, class A preferred
- Must have a valid and clear three-year motor vehicle report
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of department of transportation regulations
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials up to 100+ lbs.
- Strong stamina and endurance for loading, unloading, and delivering materials
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to navigate delivery routes safely and efficiently
- Must report accidents and maintain compliance records
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately
- Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum class B license, class A strongly preferred
- Must have a clear three (3) year motor vehicle report (MVR)
- Must have overall knowledge of department of transportation regulations
- Boom or crane experience preferred
Job Duties
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
- Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck
- Safely deliver and unload materials to an assigned area as directed by the customer
- Prepare the truck for the following day and maintain the truck and the equipment
- Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations
- Must report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
- Stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload
- Navigate routes to the job site
- Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
