Job Requirements

Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
Basic math and computer skills
Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods
Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability
Ability to work in a hot, hectic environment
Stand, walk, bend, use hands, and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods (50 plus pounds)
Must be at least 18 years of age with 2 years of clean driving history
Holds a valid driver's license and insurance issued by the state where you intend to work
Experience may be required or preferred
Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
Strong time management and customer service skills
Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
Strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills
Basic math and computer skills
Experience in baking or food preparation preferred
Valid driver’s license and insurance for delivery drivers
Ability to work independently and in a team
Customer service experience preferred
Food handler certification preferred

Job Duties

Reading and understand recipes
Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make cookies
Decorating and displaying finished product
Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service
Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time
Cleaning and restocking workstation and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
Loading, transporting, and delivering cookies to clients or businesses on time
Operating a motor vehicle such as cars, trucks, etc., for delivery purposes
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to make sure that they are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is happy
Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
Accepting payments for delivered items
Providing the best customer service
Answering questions and comfortable handling complaints from customers
Adhering to assigned routes and follow time schedules
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
