Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to operate tractor-trailers safely
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work extended periods of driving
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to follow safety and company policies
- Must be available to work weekends and overtime

Job Duties
- Inspect trailers and record any identified defects
- Provide support to Shipping department with loading and unloading process of trailers and arrange trailers to maximize the yard space
- Check trailers prior to pulling away from the dock doors
- Follow all safety company policies and procedures, including maintaining good housekeeping, immediately reporting any issues, accidents or incidents
- Complete online safety training each month as assigned
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Operate tractor-trailer in various driving environments and weather conditions between company facilities
- Drive for extended periods of time
- Maintain truck electronic logging device logs according to state and federal regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/trailer and when stopped en route
- Drop and hook trailer and change equipment configurations as necessary
