Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid commercial driver’s license
- prior experience operating a bus preferred
- ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical capability to drive for long hours and perform vehicle inspections
- adherence to grooming and uniform standards
- ability to interact effectively and respectfully with the public
- punctuality and reliability
- no deviation from assigned routes unless authorized
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- ability to operate a bus safely for extended periods
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- customer service experience preferred
- ability to follow schedules and routes accurately
- physical ability to perform pre-trip inspections and maintain bus cleanliness

Job Duties
- Report to work on time as required
- work irregular hours and days including overtime, weekends, holidays, variable shifts, and evenings
- work to a very exact time schedule
- wear a uniform and comply with neat grooming and personal hygiene standards
- drive a vehicle safely in traffic continuously for six to eight hours daily
- deal with the public effectively
- be courteous, friendly, and helpful toward all passengers and the public
- work as a cooperative team member with fellow employees and supervisors
- must not deviate from route unless advised by a supervisor
- keep interior of the bus clean
- complete a thorough pre-trip inspection each day
- never personally handle fare
