Job Requirements

  • Compassion for and desire to work with seniors
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Safe driving record as approved by company criteria
  • Valid state driver's license
  • CPR/First Aid training and certification may be required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

  • Commercial drivers license preferred

Job Duties

  • Transport residents safely to appointments and errands while observing safe driving standards
  • Assist residents with scheduling appointments and coordinate transportation with front desk staff
  • Help residents pack and unpack groceries and supplies
  • Deliver mail and packages to resident apartments
  • Perform occasional administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and assisting activity coordinators
  • Use proper procedures to assist residents and minimize risk of injury
  • Maintain and clean all vehicles
  • Monitor vehicle license plates, inspection tags, and insurance cards
  • Interact with residents in a friendly and attentive manner
  • Report any concerns about residents' health to management
  • Foster teamwork and show initiative
  • Perform other duties as assigned
